How to use this

A holiday usually covers only certain items and often only up to a price per item. Local governments may be able to opt out in some states. Dates can change from year to year, and some states have to announce them. Check the state page and the official source before you plan a trip.

When the date is not final

Entries marked “not fully confirmed” are still being checked against the official pages. We list them so you know they may exist, not as a promise.
