How this is calculated: for every ZIP code of a state, Summalo looks up the combined rate (state, county, city and districts) in the official tables and takes the plain average. It is not weighted by population, so it is a guide to how much local tax adds, not an official statistic. Arizona and Colorado show the state rate only until their tables are available. Rates as of October 2026.
